Re: Fastpass Discussion

Those changes sound way confusing. It seems it will force you to plan ahead. How do I really know what ride I will want to start with. You could be forced to get passes days ahead to complete with others already doing so or you will not have a chance to get one. Will they run out?

Don't fix something that is not broken!

Re: Fastpass Discussion

I think hotel guest should be able to have at least three Fast Passes at the same time.

Re: Fastpass Discussion

The only change I would like to see is for all the fast pass machines to offer the choice of which ride you wanted. That way, you would not have to walk from one end of the park to the other to get a fast pass. If Disney is looking for a way to make more money, maybe they should sell the fast pass books like Universal. They sell books that give you one fast pass per fast pass ride. That way, all guests will still be treated equally.

Re: Fastpass Discussion

I think that the system should remain the way it is. It would be horrible for an AP'er like myself who doesn't stay on-site most of the time I've gone to Disney to ne shut out of rides I want to go on if it's busy.

Yeah, I bet they work something in for the Apers if they do this.

Re: Fastpass Discussion

I'm kind of stuck in the middle. It would be good for my family and I because we ALWAYS stay on site.

But I can see how it would be bad for people who don't.

But Disney is bound to make a good decision!

Re: Fastpass Discussion

Most of the changes seem to be focused on making the system more efficient. The current system can be improved a great deal. I love the idea of being able to choose a number of different FPs at once instead of having to go check ride upon ride to see which ones have the best lines.

Actually, by centrallizing the process, there's a good chance that lines will even out b/c people will be able to better avoid rides with long lines. Honestly, the perks offered to the folks who spend a lot more money would make up such a small percentage of riders, that none of us would really feel the difference.

I just hope that Disney is able to implement changes that won't force people to use extreme Commando planning. That would only guarantee hotter tempers throughout the park.

We shall see.....
