MYW ticket questions

I have to say I am a bit confused about the new MYW tickets. We go to WDW almost every year and a half so annual passes aren't our best option. This Oct we are going to WDW for 3 days, but only 2 fulls days in the parks (then on to the 4 day cruise!!). On day 1 at night we have tickets for MNSSHP. With that in mind we thought we could do Epcot during the day and MK at night with the MNSSHP tickets. Is this correct or do we need a hopper option added to our single park ticket?

My next question is, since we will be going to Disney again in 1 year 1/2-2 years is it beneficial to purchase say 10 day MYW tickets and add on no expiration dates???

I am not sure if you need park admission or not for MNSSHP. If you do, you will have to get the hopper option if you intend to spend the day at EPcot and the night at MK. I haven't ever been to MNSSHP (this is my first time for this) , so I don't know for certain on the park admission.

You can't get into EPCOT with your MNSSHP tickets. Its only good for the party.

I would get the longest ticket I could afford. It only costs a few dollars for each day you add on so I think the adding the no expiration is worth it if you know you are going to go back.

I agree with Dana, get the 10 day plus and pay the no expiration. This way you will have your tickets for your next trip. One thing out of the way.

I know it says "no expiration date" but is there a limit - say in 2 years it will still work? And what if the prices go up in the meantime???

Also, "cosmicwaves" sorry for the confusion, we are purchasing 2 - day single park tickets plus the MNSSHP tickets. I was just wondering if I needed a hopper if we're going to EPCOT the same day as the Halloween party.

Your ticket will be good forever. If the prices go up before you use it then it turns out to be even a better deal. Last summer we used a ticket we had left from 1996 and had no problems.

I just pulled out my MNSSHP tickets and receipt. No where on there does it say anything about needing park admission to go, so I am assumming you will not need to add the park hopper option to your pass.

You do not need a park ticket to get into the MNSSHP just the party ticket. Last year they let us in at 5:00pm the party didn't start until 7:00 they gave us wrist bands and we started riding the rides and having a great time.
