Haunted Mansion or Tower Of Terror?

Me and my cousin are having a debate on which "horror" themed ride is the most popular. My cousin loves Tower of Terror while although Tower of Terror is one of my favorites I like the Haunted Mansion since I grew up with it on my first few trips before Tower Of Terror came along.

So which one do you all prefer Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom or Tower of Terror at Disney MGM Studios?

If my family would have to choose only one, it would be Haunted Mansion, because it's a sentimental favorite. My husband would really be tempted by ToT, but it would come in second.

Well, I like haunted mansion because everyone can ride on it. But the tower of terror is really fun to. I guess if you are forcing me to pick it's going to have to be Haunted Mansion.

Tough Choice but Haunted Mansion is a family fun classic.

Innovatively speaking ToT wins, but Haunted Mansion is time tested and still holds up very well.

My vote is haunted Mansion.

Wow I thought for sure I would be getting some TOT responses. I am big thrill ride lover myself (I want to be first in line for Splash, BTTM, Space, RnR and TOT all time). However, HM is still a classic and family favorite of mine.

For us it's split, Mom and Dad are ToT junkies. Our DD and DS lean toward the Haunted Mansion. I heard rumors a while back that Haunted Mantion might going more high-tech, kinda like the Mummy's revenge over at Universal, in the future.

Well not a coaster. But some of the enhancements that went into DL Haunted Mansion may be coming soon. Like the floating Leota Crystal Ball and a few other surprises.

Look for some additions to the Pirates of the Caribbean soon too.

Haunted Mansion! Well, in all honesty, I am too chicken to rid ToT, even though I always swear I'm going to do it...I never do. HM is a classic though!

tower of terror. haunted mansion is a lot of fun, but TOT gives me such a thrill when i go on it.

Haunted Mansion, a Disney Classic.
I have not been on ToT, but have been on a similar free-fall type ride in a Six Flags, and have seen the drop profile plotted out in an Engineering magazine so I kind of know what I am missing.

Mess with the HM and you might as well lock the main gates (PoC as well).

I do love Haunted Mansion but my vote is for Tower of Terror - I love everything about that attraction!
