Found this while helping my mom organize some of her photos today. I just shook my head. I had a really good front shot, but couldn't find it.

I was there in '96 right as they were completing construction. To this day, I still think it's one of the ugliest things I have ever seem.

Imagine being a young child...imagining the castle..and then getting there and seeing a big pink cake....

We were there for the birthday cake. It was cute but I am glad it didn't last long, the castle is just too beautiful to cover up. Thanks for the flashback.

ahh yes. The pepto bismol cake. I remember it well. I have many pictures of it and a sweatshirt with it on there. It was the first time I took my DD to WDW back in August of 97. That castle cake was pretty silly, but it was such a magical trip.

I loved the pink castle. It was different and you can only imagine how hard it was to come up with the design.
