What is you favorite magical moment?
I know that everyone loves WDW for a favorite magical moment! I am interested in hearing yours! For example:
On my DD's 1st trip to WDW (on the first day) she got to have breakfast with the princesses in the castle. A few hours later, she went to Toontown to see Cinderella. We were almost at the end of the line, and after Cinderella saw everyone in the room, she called my daughter back over to her and taught her how to curtsey, and hold her hands like a princess. That afternoon at the parade, she was selected to dance with Snow WHite and the 7 dwarfs in the parade. Needless to say, my DD thinks that all of those princesses have time for her. I love how they take so much time for little and big ones alike!!!

Re: What is you favorite magical moment?
My first time ever to WDW was in Jan 2001. Went with DH. We went to Downtown Disney in the evening.
There were fairy lights in the trees !I wasn't expecting them, and they made me feel like a little girl again. |

Re: What is you favorite magical moment?
Well.....I hope that this is okay because it is not technically a WDW magic moments....but then it sort of is...
We were at Disneyland around Christmas time, we being my husband, sister, mom and dad. We were walking down mainstreet and admiring all of the Christmas decorations and decided to go into the Christmas. While in there we were all talking about having to finish our Christmas shopping and my folks said that this year they weren't going to have to worry about it. Of course being adults we all said oh okay.....NOT....We all sort of got long faces and, I'm ashamed to admit it, I even pouted a little Well, they let us linger that way for only a few moments, then Dad says....Because we are taking the family to Disneyword and doing the Disney Cruise in March!!!! My dad had been bursting at the seems keeping it in since they had made the decision! We all stood in the shop squealing with glee and my sister, mom and I were crying. My husband was so shocked that he was at a loss for words...and that is saying alot! VERY MAGICAL for all of us! See.... I told you it was sort of about WDW ![]()

Re: What is you favorite magical moment?
The last time we were at WDW we had a PS at CRT for the very end of the day. (Maybe the park closed at 6 and we had PS for 5:45?) Anyway I questioned the time of the seating but they told me on the phone that they did seat people that late and it would be fine. Well when we were done and we left the castle, the park was closed and Main Street was almost deserted, except for us and one or two other families leaving the castle. The music was still playing, and the castle was lit with lights that were changing color by the moment. No one made us hurry. We took our time walking to the gate, took tons of pictures of our DD's (then 3 and 11). It was so beautiful, and to have it practically to ourselves was very magical.

Re: What is you favorite magical moment?
Mine was the first time going to WDW and seeing the welcome sign...had to pull over and just look at it for a minute while DW took pictures (I was so excited I swear the SUV was flying). I still get tickled all over the second I see that welcome sign.

Re: What is you favorite magical moment?
Once, I took the kids down a few days before DH could join us. When we got to MK right by the Main Street train station, we stopped to call DH at his office. Just as we were saying "Hi! Guess where we are standing right now???", the train left the station with a big belt of the whistle, which my DH heard over the phone. The whistle was the last straw... he said, "That's it. I am leaving now!" And he did! He arrived at the hotel a few hours later. We waited in the POR piano bar, and when he walked in the doors, the kids went crazy! It felt so incredibly good -- it was our most special Disney magical moment ever!

Re: What is you favorite magical moment?
Ack! I can't stand this. I want to be there now, too!!!!!!
I think like robinmouse it really felt magical to go in the park early for our CP PS. We walked down a nearly desserted main street. We felt like royalty having the park to ourselves.

Re: What is you favorite magical moment?
My fav magical moment was the very first time my ds saw Main Street (Dec 2002). We brought ds to WDW the weekend of his first birthday. His very first time in the park was at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. He fell asleep as we drove into the parking area of the park. He stayed asleep in his stroller for a little while. We were on the sidewalk at Main Street waiting for the parade to start. Just as the marching band was walking by ds woke up...wide eyed and in awe of the lights and sounds around him. I will never forget the look on his face when we took him out of the stroller and he looked around. Total magic...that is what disney world is all about.
The next morning, his first glimpse of the castle was pretty magical also. |

Re: What is you favorite magical moment?
We had been at MK all day and decided to do some shopping on Main St. before heading out. My DD (then 4, her first trip!) had gotten Minnie Ears with her name stitched on them. We were in the candy shop, DH and I turned around and there was DD, looking up, arms outstretched reaching up for one of those GIANT suckers, wearing her cute little pink outfit and her Minnie Ears. Hubby had the forethought to grab the camera and snap a pic. It's one of our most treasured memories and DEFINITELY a magical moment...

Re: What is you favorite magical moment?
The one I will never forget was taking my Mom, she was 75 at the time and it was so magical when we went thru the gate and she saw the castle for the first time, we had watched it together in black and white when I was a child and I told her one day I will take you there and she really did not think she would ever go. The house of Presidents was her favorite she said she had seen most of them and was so excited to be in the same room with so many, but this time will be in my heart forever and so will my Mama we just laid her to rest this weekend and she is with the Lord whom she loved dearly. We have been several time since that day but none will mean as much as when we all went together.
