Does Disney World have anything special in June for high school graduation? I thought I heard something about it a couple of years ago. Thank-you for any information.

How about Grad Night? Does anyone know when this is scheduled?

I could answer this question since my high school has a grad night for its seniors....only 2 more years till its my turn, lol. The way I understand it, with the help of my cousin that just graduated and went on it this is how it goes:
Grad Night (or "Grad Nite" as disney spells it) is similar to other special disney parties like Night of Joy, MVMCP, etc. The MK is all decorated for GN. Grad night is specifically for high school seniors, its basically the big final field trip. I dont think the tickets are available to the public.
For my school its scheduled for April 25, but since many,many high schools from all over the place go on this trip, they have nights scheduled all through out spring. The 2002 GN schedule was in May and April, I didnt see any scheduled for June.
The magic kingdom is closed to the public at the regular time, but then opens at 11:00 pm for the seniors to run a muk (sp?) around the park all night....all the way to 5 o'clock in the morning when it closes!!.
Most schools stay on property (at the all stars) so beware if u are staying there around april and may. The trip usually lasts all weekend. Pleasure Island is a HUGE hangout place for the seniors.
I also know that there is a special dress code for Grad Night, For guys its collar shirts and pants. And girls its nothing to revealing, long skirts...just nice clothes. Ties optional.
