Park Hopper Ticket Question

I am getting a 6 day park hopper deluxe ticket for me, my husband and my soon to be 4 year old son. What does this include? One trip to a water park and / or Disney Quest or does it allow a trip to one of these places each day?

I am confused. Do you have this ticket in hand, are you getting it from a friend or relative? Where did it come from?

The reason I am asking is that Disney does not sell them anymore. They are still valid, they have no experation date.

If memory serves me the old 6 Day Park Hoppers had 3 options. You could choose any 3 from the following. Pleasure Island, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon lagoon and Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.

I don't think they called it Deluxe did they? It was like Plus or something.... I have no clue.

I will take a quick moment to explain the new tickets. They are called Magic Your Way(MYW). They have MYW Tickets and MYW Packages. The base packages include room+tickets but you can get it with dining(which is a very good deal).

The tickets allow you to buy only the features that you want and nothing else. Some of the options you can buy are Park Hopping, No Expiration, and Additional Access.

no I don't have the tickets yet - I told the CM at disney travel that I wanted a 6 day park hopper and wanted to be able to go to the water park. He called it a park hopper deluxe maybe its the MYW plus is what I bought?

That would be possible. You may have a MYM ticket with the park hoping option added on. As for the Water Park and Disney Quest, those are options that you can add on as well. Without know what you bought, I can't say that you have them. You can also buy the no expiration option if you are buying more days than you will use this trip.

If you do not have the Water Park, Disney Quest options added in, it is not to late to have these added on. Sounds like what you may have is a Premium ticket for 6 days with park hopping privileges and 4 options (Water Parks and Disney Quest).

If you are unsure, you can always call and ask them what you have.

I would call and re-confirm. Tell them to run through what you have and where they have you booked. If you post what they tell you it will help us a little better and we can give you advice on the resort they have you booked at.

I spoke to a CM at disney vacations and I have a 6 day park hopper with 4 visits to the other locations (i.e. waterparks, disneyquest, etc.). I also verified that they had in our reservations that my son will be having his 4th birthday on our trip. So everything is set to go and we will be at Disney on 9/10

Oh I almost forgot - we will be staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Make sure you mention your DS' birthday where ever you go. Even though it is on your reservation, they don't always acknowledge it.

Now if a kid is turning four while you are there... do you still have to pay for them?? I thought kids three and under were free into the parks?

Well we did because the first day of our trip was going to be his actual birthday - then we later added the day before.

Going to WDW in October aka Walley world vacation....( 4 small children, mom and pop, and grannie and gramps) and so excited !!!
Dilemma ...
we want to go 4 days (we do not need hopper privledge (children are too young ...I think?)
so do I buy 4 day passes for everyone or do I buy individual one day passes?
I really dont even know the best place to purchase.
ANY HELP OUT THERE!?
