Sheryl, thanks for the notice. There is also a link on the front page of DisneyCentral.
Jimbobpetemoss, welcome to DisneyCentral. They just announced an e-ride night in November, and I am expecting some in late December, but none in January at all, unless it is one of the first four nights, but then again, the MK is open until 9 PM, so no, I don't expect any at all.

Hi Jimbobpetemoss and Mickey,
Yeah, I was thinking there might be a slight chance of Tuesday nights in Jan. - just because of the historical data at the bottom of this page (even though there was none in 2002): http://www.mousetyme.com/E_RideNights.html But Mickey, you are indicating to pretty much throw historical data out because now, they are only going to do high attendence times? Correct? Is this years data going to follow next year, you think? So we could guess the first e-ride night in 2003 might not be until March? |

Mickey and Sheryl,
Thanks for the welcome. I was lurking on RADP the past few days and thinking about posting but it just didn't seem to be right for me. Anyway, I inadvertantly scheduled my trip to coincide with the WDW marathon. I was kinda hoping the extra attendance might warrant an E-ride night, but I guess not. Also, if the E-ride nights aren't posted on their official website, how do they expect the occasional WDW vacationer to know about it (or is that the point?) |

I think it was always seen as a perk for people staying on property, and they were given notice at check in. So, they figured they would get some people to come and pay the money. But, someone finally figured out that it was costing them more money than they were bringing in, so it wasn't worth it. One of those great business decisions that people make without considering what else it might effect besides the bottom line.
