Candlelight Processional Question

I am thinking about booking the dining with the candlelight processional. I have 2 questions about this. First, we will be at Disney Dec. 11-25 (and then we are off to Universal) so which celebrety narrator is the best. In other words, what day should we go? My second question is where would you eat at with the package? I know there are 3 tiers to the pricing, so I guess I am trying to figure out which is the best value for the $ and which is the best place to eat at? Thanks for any input you can give!

Re: Candlelight Processional Question

What a choice. I think I would have a hard time choosing between Lou Diamond Phillips or Gary Sinise! I am still trying to decide about the dinner package too, so I can't really recommend anything. I will be interested to see the responses, too.

Re: Candlelight Processional Question

For me, the choice would be Lou Diamond Phillips but no matter who does the reading...you can't miss. I have been going each year for the past 8 years without fail...sometimes 2x in one season.

I prefer Canada, France or Italy but that is a personal choice. If you like buffets Germany or Norway are both great. Again, it depends on your taste. Not to be redundant but I don't think you will go wrong at any of the eateries. I have also found it nicer to go an earlier show and eat later. We usually finish our meal just before the fireworks.

Hope you enjoy your trip. My sister will be coming in from CA. We will be sailing on the Magic 12/3 and plan to take in WDW 12/11-12/14.

Re: Candlelight Processional Question

I would have recommended Jim Caviezel if you were going to be there Dec 7-9. I have eaten at the Biergarten and at Marrakesh;both were great restaurants.

Re: Candlelight Processional Question

Since you won't be there for Jim Caviezel's performances, I would probably go with Gary Sinise. As far as the meal is concerned, it depends on whether or not you want to go for fancier or plainer. If fancier, Le Cellier can't be beat AFAIC. If plainer (in terms of atmosphere and type of food, not quality), Biergarten in Germany is always a great fun experience (but go hungry, the buffet is HUGE). Le Cellier's in Canada, btw.
