Segue's at Epcot

Has anyone taken the Segue class and tour at Epcot? My daughter and I did this last year and it was a lot of fun. We had to go through a training session, then toured the World Showcase on the Seque before it was open to the public. We got a special pin for participating, too. It was an experience I wouldn't mind repeating someday, (if it weren't for the cost, of course, hehehe).

First off, welcome to DC Dadoo!
I've always wanted to try this tour. I think it would be so cool to ride around the World Showcase in those things. What was the tour like and how much did it cost? I want to do that some day. Welcome to DC again, enjoy the site!

Re: Segue's at Epcot

Thanks a lot for the welcome! I truly appreciate it!! The seque tour was fantastic! The World Showcase was empty except for some workers putting the final touches on things. We traveled in a line, a trainer in front and back. They put us through our paces and we all learned to handle those things quite well. As for cost, I've no idea. It was a surprise from my wife, "Mumsy", and my daughter. I've always wanted to try them, so they got us in. After my initial apprehension, it was amazing how stable they were, tho we did have one incident. A lady fell when she turned instead of stopped and ran into a fence. She was a tiny bit scratched, but not really hurt thank goodness. You should go for it, I thought it was GREAT! I got photos, hehehhe.

Re: Segue's at Epcot

It sounds like a whole lot of fun. But I think I read at allears that it costs around $100.00. Is that the case DT?

Welcome to DC Dadoo....

editing: just looked at allearsnet and it says it costs $45.00 per person. That's a steal if you ask me.
How long did you get to ride the segway?

Re: Segue's at Epcot

There are two different tours, a one hour tour and a two hour tour. The two hour tour is about $80 but we had an AP discount so it was $68, I think. If you decide to do the tour go for the two hour tour, my DH said the 2 hours went by so fast.

Re: Segue's at Epcot

Boy, our time went REALLY fast!! It was a great morning. We were out two hours and we never got tired of it. Ended so quickly, seemed a blink of the eye. It was one of my favorite times at WDW. Well, I did have my daughter with me, so it was special.
