Here is another picture of train. It is going forwards, I think, and up the hill into the mountain. The stack is on the back of the train I believe.

Yes it is going forward. I forgot about this picture showing the rear part of the train before it was put on the tracks.

After watching the full video the bulk of the about 2 minute ride is inside the mountain. In the video you only see the train on the lift and when it makes the dive out and then back into the mountain.

Just so everyone knows these pictures where taken by a young man, I do not know his name or where he is from, that was sent with his family to WDW by the Make-a-Wish Foundation. And part of his wish was a behind the scenes tour of EE. What a great kid to think about sharing his wish with us!
