I do not know what to do: I have made resort reservations with AP discounts but still have to purchase the AP. I know that I have to have the AP by the time we check in at the resort. The problem is that we do not live in the US and the only way I may purchase the AP is through the wdw official site, which only sells vouchers which must be activated at guest services at the theme parks. We will be landing at Orlando int'l airport late at night (09:00 pm), and we cannot possibly activate the AP before check-in at the resort, in the middle of the night, after very long flights with 2 small children.
Will they let me check in at the resort with just the vouchers? Has anyone had that experience? I have read somewhere that there is a store at the Orlando airport selling activated APs. Has anyone else ever heard of this? Are they open late at night? I do not want to risk arriving at the resort with nothing, not even a voucher! I would really appreciate suggestions!! Thank you very much |

Re: Annual Pass: help!
I checked in at AKL with only my vouchers in January. No worries there. The CM asked me to stop back and show them to her after I activated them. No problems at all.

Re: Annual Pass: help!
Yep -- don't worry about it. Lots of us have been able to check in without activated APs (just the vouchers) many times. By the way, the store at the airport no longer sells activated APs, so just buy the vouchers through disneyworld.com and have a safe flight over here.
If you're truly worried, you can always call the resort you're staying in (about 3 days before you leave) and let them know the story -- that you're flying in very late and won't be able to activate the vouchers until the next day at the parks. They should be able to take your name and make a note on your reservation that you'll be checking in with vouchers but will show activated APs to the front desk the following day. No worries, as Dana said. All will be fine. :)
