fla resident
My sister just moved to Fla. My husband and I will be visiting her. She was wondering if she could buy the tickets and give them to us as a Christmas presnet and we could use them even though we don't live in Fla. Do they check to see if you are a resident when you go to DW?? Haven't been since the castle was pink (ICK).

You have to be a florida resident to get a Florida resident ticket. If you can prove you are a Florida resident then you will be fine.

Yup, picture ID, voter registration card, etc.... are required for each person when you buy the passes

Yep, they check...otherwise we'd do this for my in-laws. No such luck...but I do understand why.

I say a qualified yes. It's just like using FL res rates or AP rates for the hotel room. It really depends on what CM you get when you get to the gate. Most of the time you will be asked for iD,but then again,a lot of times you won't.

Sometimes you can cheat the system...but here I am afraid you can't...so many times I hear people say how living in Florida stinks...hurricanes, bad football teams, crime...and I am just talking about South Florida...but honestly, it is awesome getting this discount from Disney!!! Not to rub it in though...I am sure you can find some way around this.
