MYW Tickets Q

I think that I remember that even MYW tickets require a finger scan for adults. Can someone confirm that this is true? Thanks!

When we were in WDW in May my Mom got a MYW ticket and you were scanned just like AP holders.

Every adult ticket gets a finger now. We even used an old ticket (1998) and we had to use the finger scan with it.

I have to ask, what is a finger scan?? 2 years ago we have park hoppers and no such thjing. They scanned our passes and away we went.

Easy. Just place you first two fingers in the machine around a yellow post and close them. It reads your finger sizes.

Maybe a little more hassle on little ones, and I did see a almost grown child that was obviously handicaped that had a problem. They put her hand in but she didn't understand to close her fingers. After couple of trys they gave up and showed ID - CM seemed oblivous to problem.

Generally works well though.
