First trip during "off peak".

So, we're getting ready to take our next trip during the so called "off peak" time of year. We're used to going during Spring Break when everyone else is going.
This time, we're going for a quick two day trip and it will be the first trip during this time of year, so what should we expect?

The only down side is smaller crowds = less park hours. There may be only nighttime extra events on the weekends at slow times of the year, too.

I believe there are regular park hours thru September with extra MH in the AM and PM. Easy enough to check out park hours on WDW's website.

I also am going during off-peak time. This will be my first trip to Disney during the last week of September. I like it because it is cheaper (cheaper is good), less crowded, and less hot. Also as a added bonus now we have free dining- yippee!!!!!!!!!!!

I too am looking forward to my off time trip but I am afraid that eventually this week will get crowded too-A few counties in metro ATL have gone to modified school calenders which mean we get a week off in September. Guess where we'll be every September?

I have never been to WDW at peak times, so I have no frame of reference, but as to less time the parks are open, there is still plenty of time to see everything. Times are also augmented by EMH, and its no so hot so midday times are more bearable.

You are going to love it. I am going at the same time. (see my countdown?) You won't believe all the stuff you will walk right on. We've gone at this time for the last 4 or 5 trips.

You should expect CMs that are not stressed out.
You should expect wonderful service, shorter lines, great weather ( I think).
You will have a GREAT time.

What should you expect? to be shocked at the lack of people and fast lines...lol You are going to get spoiled by off peak touring and will never want to go at peak again..lol Have some fun.
