Here are the models for Katrina. Looks like a rainy weekend for WDW.

I live in Broward county ( south florida) and they think it might become a catergory one hurricane right before it hits us

Yeah and it is one of those lovely slow moving ones too, even tho we aren't supposed to be anywehre near it they are even prediciting 3-5 inches of rain here in Orlando... :(

Unless it turns to a hurricane and turns more towards orlando I dont think they will close

that is the difference of a tropical dispression and a hurricane. why did they call names of all of ladies and gents.

We went WDW to Pop Century last to escape Hurricane Charlie!! Needless to say Hurricane Charlie turn and came towards WDW,was JUST to the East of Disney. With a tropical storm you will get some wind and bands of rain, they shouldn't close. Just keep a ear open on things going on, because like during Charlie Pop Century closed the restaurant down and made everyone go to there rooms. But needless to say there where people swimming in the pool until someone slipped and fell. Then the next day on the "Disney TV" they will tell you about any closings

Disney was GREAT during the hurricane, we were at MK, the CM's where tying the signs down and taking in anything that could blow around.

They're forcasting 3-5" for Orlando?? We're supposed to fly into Tampa from Ohio on Thursday. Not sure if we will go or not. Looks like a very rainy weekend in Florida, no matter where you are.

Maybe not for you.... but we are a little concerned here. I live in Palm Beach County.I know as of right now this is nothing like last year, but I don't want to go through all that again !!!
