EMH Bracelet Question

I was reading another thread about EMH's and the bracelets were mentioned. When and where do you get them. If we are going to be there all day can we get them when we arrive or do we have to get them later in the day and, do they give them at the front gate or somewhere else?

About an hour before the park closes, go to the park entrance and show them your "key to the world" card (your resort room key) and you will have a bracelet put on your wrist by one of the cast members working the gates!

They will have stations all over, not just at the entrance. Any CM will be able to tell you where to get them. They usually start giving them out about 2 hrs. before regular closing time.

Thanks for clearing that up,karliebug! It was pretty hectic and crowded when we were at MK for the extra hours, and we had cast members directing everyone to the front gates for the bracelets! I wasn't even aware that there were different stations to get them!

When we were at WDW in late July and early August EMH wrist bands were distributed several places at each park.

MK-Main entrance, Caribbean Plaza, Castle Rose Garden, across from the Liberty Square landing, The Timekeeper, and across from Winnie the Pooh ride.

Epcot-Main entrance (but not the back gate), Future World East & West Breeseways, The bridge landing between Future World and World showcase, in fornt of the American Adventure, and the Mexico Bridge.

MGM-Main entrance and near Rock and Roller Coaster.

KK--Main entrance, by It's Tough to be a Bug Fastpass ticket location, Harambe School in Africa, Kali River Rapids Fastpass location, and near the boneyard in Dinoland.

They are all over the place. Just be in the park before normal closing time, and make sure your have room key.

Not enforced too well though. When I was there in end of July they were still giving them out at 12:30 AM, hours after the close and only a couple of people looked for them. No announcements about closing. People will stay as long as you let them so...

I didn't think there was any rule about having to BE THERE before park close...if you're a resort guest you should be able to get a bracelet at any point during the EMH, right?? It just supposed to be that after park close only people with bracelets are allowed on rides and in attractions...am I mistaken??

This is exactly what I was trying to find out in the other thread. I know they start handing out the bracelets 2 hours before closing, but when is the last chance to enjoy EMH? Do I have to be there with a bracelet before regular closing, or do they still let you enter the park after that time if you are a resort guest with hopping, etc. I am getting mixed answers on that.

All it says on Allearsnet is that you can't get your bracelet ANY SOONER THAN 2 hours before park close...it says nothing about a deadline to get it. I think if you're a resort guest you can continue to enter (and get bracelet) at any point during EMH - but I'd like someone who's done it to verify that -- I can tell you in a few days!
