Finding Nemo

Is it true that they are replacing Tarzan with Finding Nemo?
If so any updates on the progress?

Re: Finding Nemo

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but rumors say that the Tarzan Rocks! show will be replaced with a Finding Nemo show. The theater will also be enclosed to decrease the noise level near Everest. The show is supposed to close this fall. I'll post updates as soon as I get them

Re: Finding Nemo

They are for sure replacing Tarzan. I just pray that it IS NOT Nemo related. I love him, but he belongs at Living Seas and THAT'S IT!

I agree... I even had a hard time understanding Tarzan with Dinos, but they match closer than aquatic life... unless we travel with Nemo back in time to see underwater dinos.

I agree with you guys. Nemo is waaaayyyyyy cool but definatlety NOT a part of AK. ( personally I liked Tarzan rocks and will miss the show) but it will be good to see something fresh going in there.

Re: Finding Nemo

So, then, the next logical question is:

What kind of show would YOU put there? Dinosaurs don't give you a lot of leeway...

Re: Finding Nemo

Nemo?! That's a really....odd....choice.

I say LEAVE TARZAN WHERE IT IS!!! Tweak it a little if you have to, for the folks who don't like it, but otherwise leave it alone! I like that show.

Oh well....bye Tarzan....I don't think I'll get to see you before you disappear forever.

Before tarzan there was a jungle book show in that area. It was cute and the kids liked it.

Hey.....I'm not the "queen" of anything.

I was going to comment on EJ's lovely, non-condescending statement. But you know now that she's a AP holder she's just draining Disney resources, smuggling in food, walking around criticizing everything, and generally ruining Disney for everyone who can't be there 6 times a week. I think someone wrote a controversial article on AP holders after spending 10 minutes with EJ.

Anyway, Tarzan was a great show. Nemo doesn't have the musical score to carry it.

If I recall, isn't EJ also a resort snob?

Re: Finding Nemo

I don't think Nemo fits in at AK--isn't he better suited like at Living Seas? Doesn't the Tarzan Show do pretty well? We didn't get to see it. As matter of fact, our AK experience wasn't the greatest. It is not my favorite park.
