So I know there have been past questions about baby swap, but I couldn't see where this was addressed:

If DH and I want to do baby swap, lets say for TOT (just hypothetically), do we need to get 2 FP's (one for each of us)? Or can we get one FP and the baby swap card? And, if that is so, if one of us gets a FP for one ride doing the baby swap, can we then get another FP to a different ride to do baby swap (Like RNR)??

As far as I know, you will both need the fast pass.

You do both need fast passes to get you past the CM at the fast pass entrance, then another CM will handle the baby swap.

We only got one fastpass and the CM handed us a pass to use on return that was good for up to four people. We were able to get a fast pass for both RRC and TOT at the same time, it was great! Just walk up to the CM and ask for the child swap pass, have the other person and child with you and they will hand them the pass. My DD11 got to ride everything 2x's in a row! You will love it!

No, you don't both need FP.

I've had to do baby swap dozens of times. Go to the CM at the entrance to the ride and tell them you need a baby swap. They'll give you one babyswap FP. Now your spouse can go get in the standby line, or you can get one FP.

After your spouse as ridden, swap the baby and present your babyswap pass to the CM to get in.

At MK on our last trip, DW took the baby & DD to Splash Mt. and requested a babyswap pass. I took DS to Big Thunder Mt. and requested a pass. After Splash, DW decided she didn't want to ride the other mountain. So I was able to use it at Big Thunder.

Oh, and 4yo DS got to ride most rides twice--once with mommy, once with daddy--without having to get any kind of pass.

You don't need fast passes at all. Baby swap passes get you in the fast pass line without a fast pass. You can get them from the CM standing at the front entrance. You get just one for both of you. One of you waits in line and when that first person comes out of the ride, you "swap" the baby and use the baby swap pass to enter via the Fast Pass line. Some rides (at least at DL) don't use the Fast Pass line, but the ride exit.

The advantage of baby swap over the fast pass is that you can use it right then and there, versus returning at a certain time such as with the fast pass. Of course you could always use a fast pass to get in the ride for the first person.

The rides that offer baby swap are usually listed on the wall at the baby care center. Not all do - it's usually just the thrill rides. We used it on Mission Space, Space Mountain, Dinosaur, etc etc. Just because it offers Fast Pass doesn't mean it offers baby swap. Ask at the Baby Care Center - they usually have a list.

Funny thing is, I have done rides all three ways described.

1) Both needed Fastpass (Space Mountain)

2) Just needed one fastpass and got in through back way when other rider was done (Test Track and Dinosaur)

3) No Fast Pass, we got it by asking about the Baby Swap (Mission Space)

I am not sure if the policy changes, or if it depends on the ride, but we have done each of the methods described at one time or another.

Why don't you just get 2 fastpasses, and then if they only ask for one, you can do it twice each?
