Segway tour question

I was thinking about booking a segway tour for my husband and myself during our upcoming trip. Has anyone taken this tour? My husband is a tall/big guy. Are there any type of restrictions for this tour?

I took it last December. It was wonderful!!! I highly recommend it.

There are a couple of restrictions: you must be less than 250 lbs, you must be older than 16, and capable of standing for long periods of time (it's a 2 hr tour).

My DH did this tour with a couple of friends this summer and loved it. He said the two hours flew by.

My DH and his friends did this in August. DD, DS and I went to Chef Mickey's because you have to be at least 16 too. I made the plans for the trip, and DHs friends said it sounded interesting and were willing to do it. Afterward, everybody was thanking me and raving about it. They said it was the best thing they did at WDW. If you have AAA you get a discount too.

Does anyone have the cost and starting times of this tour?

One tour starts before the park opens, 8:30 I think and a second tour starts at 9:30. It's $80 but there are several discounts.

My Daughter and I took the Segway tour and it was fantastic. After a short training period to get the feel of it, we set out and had a wonderful time. It ended way too soon.

What a cool little video and what weird little things. I've seen, what seemed to be, Disney management zipping around them at EPCOT but never really knew what they were. What do they run on, do they plug in?
