Great deal on Pal Mickey! Get "last year's model" for just $13.99 plus shipping (and tax if you live in FL). Pal Mickey retails for $65 plus tax at Disney World! The "old" model sports a traditional Mickey outfit (new one wears a tuxedo) and has a slightly different belt clip. The discounted Pal Mickey works fine in the Disney World theme parks and will automatically upload current park information (except about 5 new rides). thanks for this. I want to buy Caisley one (She LOVES Mickey SOOOO much), but the one at our local Disney store is 23.99. I'll have to see if it is still cheaper with shipping.

I was just about to post this!!!! There's a Silver Sands outlet mall in Destin, FL - about an 1 or so away from me - that has a new Disney Outlet. Heard they were selling these. I was going to ask if it's worth it to go buy the old model, or just splurge and get the new one? Are they basically the same? Never had a Pal Mickey, so I'm not sure. But obviously, I'd rather spend $15 than $70 if they're pretty much the same.

I think the new Pal Mickey has a volume control or it's at least louder. We have to old Pal Mickey and he's hard to hear in the parks. We have to hold him up to our ear to hear him. He's fun but after a few days he's a pain to carry around.

Excellent. I probably wouldn't carry it around the whole trip. Just the first day or two to check it all out. I might drive out to Destin this weekend and pick one up.
