Best princess/face character experiences?

What are some of the best experiences you & your family have had with princesses or other face characters in the parks?

What did they do to make it extra memorable or special?

Re: Best princess/face character experiences?

hmmmm.... this first memory that pops into mind was the first time we met sleeping beauty. we met her during our second trip. rob found her for me and we got in line. i was so excited to meet her. i told her she's my favorite princess and she was so pleased to hear that. she signed my book and took a picture with me. i know there's more but that's the first memory of a best experience with a princess.

For me it was watching Prince Charming crown my daughter "Birthday Princess" at dinner at 1900 PF. All of the characters were really wonderful, they took so much time with her.

Re: Best princess/face character experiences?

DGD 2 1/2 was afraid of all characters until she met Snow White in EPCOT. She talked softly with DGD from a distance and put her at ease. She spent a good amount of time helping DGD feel comfortable and gave her a kiss when she left. DGD was very proud of here lipstick mark on her cheek! After her encounter with SW DGD wasn't afraid anymore and interacted with all the characters!

Re: Best princess/face character experiences?

This past April my DD1 (it was about 1 1/2 weeks after she turned 1) let SnowWhite hold her for pictures and my DD just stared and smiled and just LOVED her!! We told Snow White that we had a Snow party for her b-day and this picture was going to be included in her Thank You cards. She asked to see my pictures off my digital camera and she explained all of it to Dopey and showed him the pictures. She took so much time with us even though there was a huge line waiting behind us. She was so perfect-she had that soft spoken voice and big smile and those 2 things is probably what mesmerized my DD!

What costume are you talking about? Beast doesn't wear any costumes. In fact, none of the characters wear any costumes. Why do I constantly hear people ask the characters about costumes? None of the characters will be wearing any costumes EXCEPT for MNSSHP Oh, you mean Beast's purple cape and pants he was wearing in France and not his formal suit. That's what you meant right? It does make Beast look handsome. He tells me he likes that all natural feel. LOL

Re: Best princess/face character experiences?

The best encounter we had was with Fairy Godmother waiting in the lobby at CRT. Emilie had been sick the night before and really wasn't feeling well. When she got to the Fairy Godmother she told her she wasn't feeling. Fairy Godmother reached behind the throne and pulled out her wand and told her that she had the magic to make her feel better. She asked Emilie if she believed that and she said yes. Well, with a wave of her want and a biddi bobbdi boo Emilie was feeling better. As soon as Fairy Godmother was done Emilie was smiling ear to ear. She said, very loudly, everyone heard her "Mommy Fairy Godmother made me feel better. I feel good now." I was in tears. Fairy Godmother gave her a big hug and talked with her a little longer. It was just wonderful! Emilie never complained about feeling bad the rest of the day.

Re: Best princess/face character experiences?

It was my mom's best experience. On our last trip we were there for my mom's and DS's birthdays. During the afternoon parade at MK, Cinderella saw my mom's birthday button and blew her a kiss and mouthed happy birthday to her. Then she pointed my mom out to prince charming and told him it was her birthday. He blew her a kiss and mouthed happy birthday also. That meant a lot to my mother. She still talks about it when we talk about that trip, and that was in November 2002.

Re: Best princess/face character experiences?

This isn't an awww experience like with the little ones...but when my friend Rebecca and I went over Labor Day weekend we decided to have our picture made with Snow White. We got in her line and I was SOOO impressed with how she treated us (two ladies in their late 20s) JUST as special as the little girls. She told me how much she liked my Mickey necklace and complemented Rebecca on her hair. She was just SOOO sweet!! Made us feel very Disney

Does Michael count from last year at the Crystal palace? I mean when he sang to Aloha_stitch it was priceless!!! heck we have had so many ..but well I have to admit .. some of the best have been my DH with the ladies of Disney .. like Meg :) he is such a child ..of course there was the time my Daughter (who was married) was ready to take Li Shang home with her :)

There was a time when me and my best friend were ready to take Aladdin home with us! We came back for pictures multiple times and he LOVED it! Just grinned and joked with us. (I'm hoping that was his character talking... )

Haha!!
The Dave wasn't too thrilled about standing in the long line to see the characters at the judges tent....I said "Well we could just go see Ariel at Ariel's Grotto" he got really excited and even though the line was actually LONGER there than at the Judges Tent....we stood and waited anyway....and he made me get out of the picture and have one of just him and her........
