Annual Pass Renewal Question

My annual pass is up for renewal (I am not a Florida resident). The renewal form that they sent me gives me $40 off if I renew before my expiration date, the price they quote me is $348.74 as the special cost and the regular price they quote is $391.14. However, if you go on their web page the regular price is $369 (not $391). I have also seen on some of the web pages that renewals are supposed to be $327. Does anyone know how to get a better deal than the $348.74 they are offering me (it seems as though they have inflated the regular price and then deducted the $40 special???

Confused in Minnesota

Disniac, the only difference is the 7% Orlando area sales tax. The prices quoted online do not include the sales tax. If you live somewhere that does not charge sales tax, or charges less than 7%, you can save a little money that way.

I live in NH (with no sales tax whatsoever) and still have to pay the tax. From what I understand (and I've been over and over and over this with Disney) the actual ticketing takes place in Florida, with useage in Florida - it's not a 'mail order' product and so they charge the Florida tax.

Whether this is true in all states or not, I don't know. I just know all New England states pay the Florida sales tax. :(

You will end up paying the tax no matter where you live. Florida charges you the tax since it for something that in the state. You can't use it anyplace else than Florida so therefore you end up paying the tax. No way that I know to avoid the tax, and I tried for the pass 8 years.
