How crowded April 1-9, 2006?
My family is thinking of going to WDW from April 1-9, 2006 and are wondering what people think of the crowds at that time of year? Easter is April 16, 2006 and Passover is April 13, 2006. Do you think it will be crowded at that time. I am used to going in Sept with few crowds. Would appreciate any input from someone who has visited before Easter week.

You might hit a lot of spring break crowds, not really sure though. I know my spring break is around that time. But I have never been to Disney World around that time, so I couldn't tell you for sure.

First off, Welcome to Disney Central!!! I saw this was your first post.
I was there this year the week before Easter Sunday, we left Orlando on Easter Sunday to fly home, but it was EXTREMEMLY packed, wait times for the big rides, Test Track, Mission Space, etc were 220+ minutes, I rode a few rides. We always go in November and the wait times are around 45 minutes, it does make you appreciate the "slow" times once you have been there during a packed time.

We were at WDW the week before Easter 2004 and it was very crowded! Wait times were 90 -120 minutes for the large attractions. We just got up early and went to the parks when they opened and stayed until 12 - 1 when they they got really crowed. If you go, have a game plan and use your Fast Passes.

Never been ther in April, I always go in January when there are no crowds at all; I also wanted to say "Welcome"---this is a great site for information and fun stuff!

Welcome! I have never been in April, but my husbands family went when he was yound and he still hasn't gotten over how crowded it was!
