Changes in TOT

I heard that starting the first of January there will be some improvements to the TOT. New smells, more drops, etc. Is this true? We can only go to 2 parks on our Christmas trip and as this is one of my favorites we will go there if everyone thinks the changes will be worth it. What have you heard?

The new drop sequences "officially" debut on December 31 but I believe they have already incorporated them into the attraction (kind of like a soft opening). So in fact you may experience them during Xmas week.

I read the same thing about the soft opening. Sound really cool... can't wait! LRTJS you'll have to tell us all about it!

Yes, I know people who have rode the new version and you will not be disappointed. Possible one or two more effects may still be coming before the end of the month.

I sure hope the changes have already been made. We are leaving for Sunday for Christmas at WDW, staying at AKL. We will make sure to get our FastPass right away for the new Tower! I can't even remembering visiting MGM when we were there for Halloween? I think we just went in real quick to eat at Prime Time Diner and left. Won't miss it this time!

I can't wait to get to MGM. Everyone is taling about the Osbourne Lights. Exactly what are they? Does it have something to do with the Osbourne family thing that is on MTV? I am not very familiar with them. But, I am really excited about the snow thing. We don't get much snow here in Alabama. ToT is my favorite and I can't wait to ride!
