Goodness, it's hard to keep a Disney secret!
We are leaving on Thursday and the kids still have no idea!! I am having a really hard time containing my excitment!! I want to tell them all about it soooooo bad!! They think we are flying to Dallas for a long weekend to celebrate DS's 10th Bday. I don't know if they'll figure it out once we get to the airport, we'll try to distract them enough so that they don't figure it out. I would love it if they don't figure it out until we get to MCO and see the Magical Express bus...but I don't know if I can pull that off since DS can read. He hasn't flown since he was two, so he doesn't know much about airports....maybe I can convince him that after we drop off in Dallas, the flight continues to Orlando....
Once we get there, we are also going to surprise them with MSSHP ON DS's bday.... I had to share with you guys.....I can hardly contain myself!!!

What a great surprise for your DS. I can totally relate, our trip in Dec. is a surprise and my kids have no idea. It's more difficult keeping it a secret than I ever imagined. I figured it will be worth it in the end, their faces should be priceless.

How exciting. I hope you can keep it a surprise until you get there. My DD snooped and found all of my planning stuff, so it is no longer a surprise for her, but my DS still has no idea. I can't wait to see the look on his face when we arrive in Orlando. I can't wiat to hear all about your trip when you get back.

Oh, we did that our first trip to Disney. My DD didn't know where we were until she saw the castle! It was soooo magical! Have a great trip!

Hang in there. You only have a few more days to hold in the surprise. If he figures out that you are going to orlando at the airport, tell him the plane stops there before going on to dallas.

if you feel the need to tell someone, tell us- we would love to hear all about it (before and after). Have a great trip and good luck with the surprise. It will be SO worth it!!!! I can't contain my excitement for you and I am not even going!!!!

I have to give you my congratulations on this. I'm leaving the 28th, and I tried to keep it a secret from my 6y DD, but I couldn't. Even the CRT lunch, couldn't be kept as a secret (I had to ask her, because she doesn't like CInderella that much)... I wish I could've kept the secret

Ooo, how exciting!!! KEEP THE SECRET, it will be SOO worth it just to see the look of excitement when they finally realize! I love it!
I REALLY like Dana's idea! If they start to get suspicious of the airport (ie, Disney bags & souveniers everywhere) tell them this airport is a stop and you can to switch planes. You can even be sneaky and say "oh, I wish we could stay here and go to WDW." hehe

I'm SOOOOO excited for y'all Dsis...just wish we were going with you!!! I love playing along with the Dallas Stars game thing....the kids REALLY think they're going to Dallas!!! You've done a great job fooling them so far, just a few more days to keep it up!! You better have a video camera on them when the figure it out....I'd LOVE to see their faces!!!
