I just love EPCOT'S Food & Wine Fest!

Well, we reluctantly returned home from a great long weekend at WDW. We went up to celebrate DD's 6th birthday, but really it was just an excuse for me to go to my favorite place in the world!

We arrived on Thursday evening at the Buena Vista Suites and again had a very smooth check-in and nice room. We received two coupons for the bar upon check in (but did not use them) so that started our trip off right!

The next morning after stuffing ourselves at the free breakfast buffett, we were off to EPCOT! There were some sprinkles as we parked the car, but we knew the clouds would clear later that morning. We had to wait at Security until 8:45 and then at the rope just beneath Spaceship Earth until 9:00. They had "ambassadors" from a few major rides there and they asked that you follow your particular choice - no running!

Of course, Soarin' was the biggest attraction of the morning (perhaps the whole day!) DD daughter and her dad LOVED it! It's great to see so many people in the Land.

We followed that up with all the other rides in Future World (Living Seas was closed) and hit the Food & Wine Fest just in time! We ate and drank from every kiosk and while each of us had our likes and dislikes, the food was of very good quality. BUT - I was SOOOO full by the time I hit Morocco (starting at the Canada side) I could eat nor drink any more!

So there were many things I missed out on.

The weather was so perfect (one of the vendors asked me if this is what Florida winter is like and when I said "yes" she replied, "Oh, I'm moving!") and everyone seemed so happy that I was very sad to leave! The Food & Wine Fest is something everyone should experience. I just wish I could go again.

Come on November 23rd!!

I know, I love it too! I haven't been this year yet, but hopefully I will find time to go soon!

We will be there on Friday! Cant wait to do the same thing, food & wine fest. But we have two days planned that we can go to the food & wine fest as I don't know that we will be able to try everything in one day!
