Jst back from our second Honeymoon...
Yes...it has been ten years since we first honeymooned in WDW. WOW!
We had a wondeful three night romantic stay. By the way, we left our children home for this trip with some guilt, but the guilt did not last to long. (They will be in DisneyLand in 2 months) Day 1 We landed and picked up our great convertible rental and went right to EPCOT. We decided that we would do all the Future side and then off to MK because they were open until 11:00. With some use of fastpasses, we rarely stood in any lines - the whole weekend. Soarin was great, as in DL, but the line area could be devasting if you had to actually stand in it, not as themed as DLR - and LONG! After playing in Future World for awhile we took the Monorail over to MK. MK was crowded, but managable and fun. Seeing as we had no children, we did not have to do the longer FantasyLand attractions. I did notice they put a great Pooh playground where the 20,000 leages was. We visited our brick that we bought on our honeymoon, right at the front gate. We actualled enjoy Wishes from our convertible, at the Contemporary. At the Contemporary, they have an outside viewing are for the fireworks, we were able to hear all the music as we sat in the car. DAY 2 All day at the Food and Wine Festival. What can we say, no crowds, beautiful weather, food and wine. This was the perfect day! (expcept for the Turkish wine) We parked at the Boardwalk and boated over to Epcot. My wifed picked up her favorite perfume from Norway and then the drinking began. Saw our favorite - Off Kilter! No day could top this. We ended up staying all night until closing. By the way do not call WDW-DINE for same day PS, we called for Canada, and they said they were booked out complete for 2 days, well we went there, and in person, they had alot of seating available. Mayb e this was do to a lazy CM on the phone?? DAY 3 Started at MGM and had a wonderful lunch at the Brown Derby. I had the Grouper, out of the world! They even gave us some champagne for our Anniv. There were no lines!!!! We saw the Lights, action Motor Show. This was the best "show" that we have ever experienced, a must. Now after enjoying the show, I am not as sad about the Golden Girls house ripped down. Walked on TOT 3 or 4 times, walked on RNR, basically walked on everything. BUT then we went to MK, it was packed!!! We did some FP's and enjoyed ourselves. ALL AND ALL this was a great get-a-way. We did miss our boys, but had a great time. Nice quiet dinners, slow moving mornings, and just a great time. Happy Anniversary Tink 0368

Re: Jst back from our second Honeymoon...
Thanks everyone, it was a fun trip - as they all are - but this one was special.
I did not think I would have PDD after a short vist, but it's here! I'm wanting to explore so more of the Food and Wine booths.

Re: Jst back from our second Honeymoon...
I tend to post more right before we go, and right after we get back. I do not know why, but I think sometimes it's that DDS (Disney Depression Syndrome).
Relaxing over 5 star lunches were the highlights of this trip. We have not been to the Brown Derby in years and loved every moment.

Re: Jst back from our second Honeymoon...
We actually planned this trip as a get-a-way to celebrate 10 years. We were eating and drinking our way around EPCOT and realized, it's not a get-a-way, it's our second honeymoon!

Re: Jst back from our second Honeymoon...
We had some friends say "Why Disney" go somewhere romantic. Don't you just want to smack these people. Disney is romantic, what could be more romantic! World Class Dining, resorts....I don't need to tell you all.
Just venting. Den
