Carousel of Progress....

Hello,
Forgot to mention on my Anniversary post, that we rode the COP and infact the CM told me they are doing ongoing rehabs to this ride, new seats and carpets, that is a good sign!

They wouldn't dare close that ride down! The protests were too many and too loud! Glad to hear they're rehabing it. That means they'll keep it for a long time.

Also, it is America's longest running stage show in the history of the stage. Does that protect it some - lol.

Anyhow, yes it was a pleasure to ride it, and quite crowded.

We absolutely adore this ride. It seems like that rumor about shutting it down pops up every now and then. Can't wait to see it again. There's a great big beautiful tomorrow...

You know maybe that does help some in keeping it open ..after all it is historic.
It is our favorite in TommowLand, and something we never miss doing more then once!

...also a fave of ours. when our kids were babies, it made for a nice, quiet, cool place to - ahem - "feed" them, if you get my drift (actualy my wife's drift - lol)

That is one of my all time favorite rides. I love when I go into Tommorrowland and see that it is running!

Yes that is a good place for that, beat the baby stations. I myselve had my bucket of popcorn and my coke, the CM was funny, she said "I gonna announce no eating, drinking.....etc, but you go ahead and enjoy that yummie popcorn, but don't make a mess!"

I forgot to mention that it was open the first week of Oct! I was so excited, it had been closed both of my previous trips, so this was a 1st for us. It was one of the few shows that my DS actually enjoyed (sitting still not a strong point for him right now). He loved the dog!

You also gotta love the preshow with Walt himself sitting on the actual stage and sitting in the tub, where Uncle Wilbur sits....why would they get rid of this!
