Looking for room for 6 adlults!!!!

ok so i need some help. Going to wdw in March 13 for about 4 days then would like to take a cruise for 3-4 days. Looking for a place to stay. There are 6 adults and a 5 year old. Really like some of the townhouses around orlando that are for rent but also like the things that go along with staying on disney properties ( ride, meal plan, extra park hours) ANy idea?? is there somewhere we can all stay or will we need 2 rooms everyone on disney properties.

You could look into renting points for a large, 2 bedroom DVC, but I think you'll find that getting two rooms would be cheaper.

Personally, I'd rent a house/condo for that many people. You can get them right near the gates and you'd have a lot more room, including your own pool and laundry and several bathrooms. (the bathrooms being the most important!)

Re: Looking for room for 6 adlults!!!!

I would go with two rooms if you plan on eating out. If your planning to save some money on food then look into renting points for a DVC villa. But then you would still break about even so why not get the two rooms and eat out.

Disney Vacation Club
I am not suggesting you become a member, just rent points from someone who is already a member.
You will get many different opinions on on site vs. off site. Mine is stay onsite. Being at the resort is an adventure all to itself.
I can not suggest a mod resort as I have never stayed in one. Though my favorite by sight is PO.
As for the meal plan if your groups has eaters in it then the meal plan is great and oh so worth the money. If you have light eaters then it is not as worth it.
I also suggest you get in touch our very own Mickey at Mouseketrips he can help you find a great deal.

DVC members are not eligible for the meal plans. We stay at Saratoga Springs, there are 7 of us all adult size. We use three rooms.

I have only stayed at Pop Century (value) but I would say just get 2 rooms if you want to do the meal plan.

Re: Looking for room for 6 adlults!!!!

I'm all for the two rooms, that means two bathrooms. I would probably choose a moderate resort over a value as it has a little more space for all of you.

Re: Looking for room for 6 adlults!!!!

If you are looking to stay off-site, check out All Star Vacation Homes. If it were me, I would do two or three rooms on property. That would be the cheapest option, two or three value rooms, plus then you can do the meal plan, which is a great money saver. Good luck in your planning!

Re: Looking for room for 6 adlults!!!!

we go with two rooms with just the 4 of us! DD is nearly 13 and at the shy stage!
Have 2 bathrooms and 2 TV's is great it also means that we get some alone time!

Staybridge on I-drive is an suite hotel and is very nice. They have 2 bedroom suites and I think they can sleep 6 people in a suite. They are very reasonably priced too.
