SGE in the Dust

It is very amazing how quickly the dissapointment of SGE is being forgotten and the excitement of all the new attractions has taken over- especially the awesome EE. From what I am seeing it is the most incredible attraction ever!

Yep. I know I'm excited... And I was definitely disappointed in SGE. I wish they would have left AE there. That was awesome...

Re: Stitch in the Dust

Well, considering that EE will be the most technologically advanced roller coaster in the world for now, it's no wonder it's getting all of the buzz.

But let's be honest, SGE was not that bad! Come on people! It's very cute, funny, and the effects are really well done. Stitch's design is 2nd only to Lucky! The problem is everyone overhyped the ride to more than it could ever reach the expectation. Also, remember they had to cut some effects due to budget that would have really turned that attraction around, a la Stitch being a free walking (or crawling in his case) audio animatronic around the room! Kids still love this ride BIG TIME and everyday I walk around MK I see the fastpasses for that attraction sell out and people turn right back around and get on it again and again. Yes it was far from what we expected. Maybe we shouldn't overhype EE lest it suffer a similar fate.

Rowdy ~ I love this ride!! Maybe it is because I heard so many bad things about it, I went on it expecting it to be terrible and ended up really enjoying it!! I also love Stitch so maybe that is part of it. The only part I didn't like was Stitch's Chili Dog burp ~ but it was pretty funny!!!

Re: Stitch in the Dust

Rowdy, you're probably right, but I'm still mad they took our AE for Stitch. AE was awesome... I suppose I'll give Stitch another chance in December...

Yes I agree, a free walking animatronic would have been awesome. In my original post I was trying more to say that WDW has moved ahead at a break-neck pace with incredible new attractions since we used to wonder and debate about SGE originally. Noting against Stitch the character, which I like, but SGE is just a non-factor for me.

Re: Stitch in the Dust

Well, I thought that SGE was excellent! It was cute, and a lot of fun! And most importantly, my two sons AND my wife loved it as well!

They had no interest to see AE when it was there, and neither did I! It just wasn't "Disney" enough for us! EE looks to be very promising!

I'm with the Raider, Roxie - Stitch wasn't bad at all. I like the part where he whispers in your ear "Will you be my friend?" Disney Hog 06 has a great point, AE was very cool indeed, but lets not compare the two to evaluate. On it's own merit Stitch rocks.

But then - maybe you just didn't like it, eh?

Raider, we know you like Stitch. Honestly... I am glad a few people find fun and joy in it so it's not a total loss. But for many of us... it really is that bad despite how cool the Stitch Animatronic is. Sorry bud.

Re: Stitch in the Dust

No...I'm sorry...I really though SGE was bad. It could have just been boring, but add to it the stinky chili dog and it moved down a notch to bad. I wouldn't go on it again if it was a walk-on.
