Keeping Track of Park Hours?

This is probably very obvious... but how do I find out park hours while I'm there? Is it on the TV? Is there an in-house info line?

You understand... because I'm obsessive and I'll want to make sure the hours are what I've planned on, and because I MUST be there when a park opens!

Disney site - calendar page. You have to select month, then park and hit go to display differnt park. But it will get what you are looking for. Be sure to check the Extra Magic Hours link on the calendar staying onsite.

Re: Keeping Track of Park Hours?

Thanks, but that only works for me now when I'm sitting at home. What I'm asking is what's the easiest way to keep up with park hours when I'm actually at WDW?

Re: Keeping Track of Park Hours?

Well I am actually taking that info and putting it all on one calendar and printing it out before I go (actually going to laminate it too).

Re: Keeping Track of Park Hours?

When you check in they should give you a sheet with all the hours and EMHs for all the parks for the week. Just remember to go get a new one at the front desk if the week changes while you are there. (the new one comes out on Sunday)

There is also a channel that lists all the hours at all the parks.

Re: Keeping Track of Park Hours?

Thanks! I will remember to get a new one- and probably wouldn't have thought of it if you hadn't mentioned it.

Save yourself the work. You can pick up a limitless supply of printed schedules everywhere--at your resort, at the parks (for every park), at DTD.

These schedules will include parade, firework, and other times.

They are so prevelant if one gets lost/ruined, you simply pick up another.

Re: Keeping Track of Park Hours?

Double check the info you print out from home with what's at the resort/parks! It was different the week we were there. I had triple checked and planned before we left and then changed plans due to different EMH than what I had.

That is good advice. They put them out in 2 week blocks and the calendars will have the times for the parks and the parades and fireworks for each park.

Thanks, Mickeymommy! This is exactly the sort of thing I was thinking of when I asked the question. I get the idea it seemed like a stupid question, but it really wasn't!

Not a stupid question at all! I know what it's like to plan everything down to the last detail.

...and I've carried laminated cards with my ADR #'s and times.

Re: Keeping Track of Park Hours?

I plot it all out on excell spreadsheet including extra magic hours. Gives me something to ponder on the flight down and helps deciding where to eat and maximize in park time.

Staying on site, you'll get all the times in your check in package too.
