what if....?
Ok
Suppose you were president of Epcot (how bout that for your resume!!!) And you were given the opportunity and the choice to build one more pavilion in Future World and one more in World Showcase. What would you do?

Re: what if....?
Oh, there would be a "Discover the World Below" pavilion, focusing on karst and caves. Some of it would be realistic for the adventurous. Some would be fantastical, ala Journey to the Center of the Earth. All would be educational.

Re: what if....?
Well, let's see... they already have Land, Sea, Air, Transportation, Imagination, Energy, Communication, and Health (currently closed).
Entertainment is basically covered in MGM studios, Animals are in Animal Kingdom, History is in the American Adventure, and culture throughout the World Showcase. So, let's see... Weather might be interesting. Or maybe... Arts and Music. Although at first thought that sounds limited. Think about it. Silly Symphonies could be incorporated. A Fantasia ride. Mickey's Philharmagic could have fit here. There could be lots of potential. Countries... well, I really want an Egypt or Russia.

Re: what if....?
I think I would create an astronomy type pavilion in Future World. Maybe a really innovative and interactive planetarium exploring the cosmos. Rooms where you can enter into each of the planets and explore the conditions, etc... Interactive exhibits on clouds, stars, and the weather, etc...
As far as the World Showcase goes, I think a Carribean Islands pavillion would be great. The restaurants, entertainment, and shopping would be AMAZING! (PS: I think it's funny that in Future World I'd want to explore the world above and Cavey the world below , hehe. We must truly be opposites)

Well, there you go, "The World Above, World Below" Pavilion. The top floors are dedicated to astronomy, the lower levels to speleo sciences.

Re: what if....?
I agree with combining the Future World ideas that Wish and Cavey came up with. It could be in the Wonders of Live pavilion, whch something new needs to be done with.
As for World Showcase, now that we have more normal relations with Russia, I'd like to see that country represented

Re: what if....?
How about a Hawai'i Pavillion? or a New Zealand one? Or combine both of those and do "French Polynesia" and have Tahiti, Bora Bora, Mo'orea, Hawai'i, Maori, Pacific Rim, Rarotonga, Cook Islands, Fijian Islands etc!
yeah yeah yeah!

"Star Wars is not a matter of life and death- it is much more important than that."
To Darth Tageous, who wrote this, I have but two words to say- Right on! As for Epcot, I would build an Ireland Pavillion, but the problem is there's nothing prominent to represent it or distinguish it from the UK. Egypt, on the other hand, has two landmarks to represent it. And in Future World I would... I would... um... Oooh! I know! Rebuild Horizons!

Re: what if....?
I would somehow bring back World of Motion to the GM pavillion while still finding a way to maintain Test Track. As much as I love TT, it's too bad they replaced an educational attraction, which is what Future World was built on, for a thrill ride. But what a ride it is! I still miss World of Motion though.
Regarding World Showcase, I like the Russia idea, but I always thought Greece would make for an interesting pavillion.
