Mouseketrips Info Please

I know I am a little excited as we are returning to WDW in Feb. But I have a question. I booked a trip with Disney travel but also checked with Mouseketrips. I have two weeks to decide on the one with Disney Travel so I have the trip. But I have had problems with Disney Travel both times we have used them.

I sent an e-mail to Mouseketrips and did like what they quoted me. Being used to calling Disney and talking to someone anytime, I tried to call the number on the Mouseketrip web site and left a message. No one called me back. I sent another e-mail and they did respond again through e-mail.

My questions are: Is everything done through e-mail? I like talking to someone to be sure all is ok. Do they work on the weekends? I havn't heard from them again.

And, I am worried about waiting on Mouseketrips to get this booked and get my dining reservations. You can book dining 180 days out now and we are only 96 days out or something. We will be there for Valentines Day and I want to get dining booked ASAP as well as our CRT was cancelled because of hurricane Wilma and I would like to get that booked too.

Do I wait for Mouseketrips to try to do this or should I call and make my dining using the reservation number Disney gave me? Will that mess things up if Mouseketrips gets ahold of me and we book with them. Will I lose my dining if my Disney reservation number gets cancelled?

I have used mousketrips twice now. If you have had problems with disney travel in the past, then I suggest you book with them. Make the ADR's now while you wait for them to book it for you. What the worse that can happen? You may have to change one. They will get back to you. I don't think they work weekends. Try calling on Monday. I haven't ever had a time where I coudln't reach them by phone unless he was on vacation. Not sure if you know it, but mouseketrips is co-owned by the guy that runs this site.. A private message to mickey about your trip and needs for a quick booking wouldn't hurt.

I have heard nothing but good things about Mouseketrips. I like making all the reservations myself (I'm sort of a control freak), but if I were to use a travel agent, I'd start there.

If you've had bad experiences with the other one, go with Mouseketrips and see what happens.

I've used Mickey @ Mouseketrips for my previous 3 trips and he's wonderful.

I'm wondering, however, if something hasn't been going on for him over the past week because I emailed him a week ago and haven't heard back. That is very unusual. I'm guessing he's been busy out of the office for the last week or so.

I agree with Dana - try calling him tomorrow, I'll probably do the same!

Sorry, we have been having a problem with our voicemail. Normally we reply to email much faster than voicemail, since we do stuff like that from home as well, and voicemail is only done from our office. It looks like we finally got things fixed with the phones. Just let me know if you want me to give you a call tomorrow or we can do everything by email.

Thanks Mickey, I do want to book this with you. I did go ahead and make my dining reservations today. Tomorrow will be fine, I will be home in the morning.

We have used Mousketrips twice in the past now, and it is great. Mickey does all of the leg work for me and has gotten some great deals for me. I also passed on his number to a friend of mine that is very impressed with him.
