Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights starts tomorrow

Here's a heads-up for everyone who loves the annual Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights at MGM: According to the Disney Web site, the Osborne Lights will be turned on beginning tomorrow, Nov. 14. Here's the schedule:

November 14, 2005 - November 21, 2005, 6:00PM - 8:00PM
November 22, 2005 - November 26, 2005, 6:00PM - 10:00PM
November 27, 2005 - November 29, 2005, 6:00PM - 8:00PM
November 30, 2005, 6:00PM - 7:00PM
December 1, 2005 - December 24, 2005, 6:00PM - 8:00PM
December 25, 2005 - December 30, 2005, 6:00PM - 10:00PM
December 31, 2005, 6:00PM - 1:00AM
January 1, 2006 - January 7, 2006, 6:00PM - 8:00PM
January 8, 2006, 6:00PM - 7:00PM

I am so thrilled for the people who are going to get to see these. It's cool they extended their times like that. I got to see the display while there a few weeks ago...not lighted up in all it's glory, but I was amazed by the sheer amount of lights. The pictures, I'm sure, do not do that display justice. Thanks for the informaiton PH>

The display of these lights are just beautiful!!! But, I still miss all the houses , especially the Golden Girls house.

Haven't seen them since they moved from the back street tour area. Even though a picture says a thousand words, pictures just can't describe this. It was "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation" gone mad. All that was missing was Chevy Chase plugging it all in.

When I have Wish Famlies going down during the holidays it is one thing I tell them not to miss, but don't go right at 6:00 when it opens.

Looking forward to see how it's changed.

I miss getting those "3-d" glasses that turn all points of light into snowflakes. Do they still give those out at the Osbourne Lights? Every once in awhile around Christmas I take them out of my "Disney memory box" and stare at my Christmas tree lights, haha! I know, there must be something wrong with me! haha

No, they didn't give out the 3-D glasses last year. A CM told us moving the lights to their new location caused some technical problems and the 3-D effect wasn't working. He said Disney was addressing the problem and that they might be back this year. We'll see . . .
