size matters

just a quick about height requirements for the rides, since we will be going with 6 grandkids all under the age of 10 does anybody know what the height requirements are for rides like oh say sorin or anything else outside of MK thanks a bunch

my 3 YO who is 42" tall went on Soarin' - it's not what you might think. Go to Disney.com and you will find all height restrictions for all rides. have fun!!

Animal Kingdom
Dinosaur -Height minimum is now 40 inches.
Kali River Rapids -Must be at least 38 inches tall to ride.
Primeval Whirl Must Be at least 48 Inches Tall.

Epcot
Body Wars (Wonders of Life) Must be at least 40 inches tall to ride; .
Maelstrom (Norway) Minimum age 3 to ride;
Mission: SPACE Must be at least 44 inches tall to ride;
Soarin' Must be at least 40 inches tall to ride.
Test Track Must be at least 40 inches tall to ride;


Magic Kingdom
Goofy's Barnstormer 35 inch height requirement
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Must be at least 40 inches tall to ride;
Space Mountain Must be at least 44 inches tall to ride.
Splash Mountain Must be at least 40 inches tall to ride;
Stitch's Great Escape Must be at least 40 inches tall to ride;
Tomorrowland Speedway Children under the age of 12 months should not ride. Must be at least 52 inches to ride alone. Persons who do not meet the minimum height requirement of 52" (132 cm) must ride with a responsible person who meets the requirement.



Disney-MGM Studios
Rock N Roller Coaster -High Speed (3 inverts) Coaster; Must be 48" tall;
Star Tours -Must be at least 40 inches tall to ride.
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror -Must be at least 40 inches tall to ride.


Blizzard Beach
Chair Lift -Must be at least 32 inches tall to ride; No infants or lap-riding
Cross Country Creek -continuous river raft ride Adult supervision is required.
Downhill Double Dipper (mat slide) -Must be at least 48" tall to ride
Slush Gusher - speed slide -Must be at least 48" tall to ride
Summit Plummet - speed slide -Must be at least 48" tall to ride
Tike?s Peak (childrens area) -Must be under 48" tall to visit


Typhoon Lagoon
Crush 'n' Gusher-NEW March 2005 Must be at least 48" tall to ride
Bay Slide Must be UNDER 60" to ride
Castaway Creek (continuous river raft ride) Adult supervision is required
Humunga Kowabunga (speed slide) -Must be at least 48" tall to ride
Shark Reef (saltwater reef environment) -Guests under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.


Disney Quest
Buzz Lightyear?s AstroBlasters -Must be at least 51" tall to ride;
CyberSpace Mountain -Must be at least 51" tall to ride
Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam -Must be at least 48" tall to ride .
Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold -Must be at least 35" tall to ride

That was nice of you, queensmama!

Some of the height restrictions always seem strange to me- it's too bad Primeval Whirl has such a tall one- my 4 year old would love it. He IS tall enough for Tower of Terror, but way too young for it.

As Erin and EJ so graciously say Primeval (Hurl), that ride is just to rough. My 4 yo DD would hate it.

I honestly don't know what people have against that ride. If anything it was too tame to stand in a long line for.
