Is Narnia @ MGM open?

I don't know where I say this, but I think it was on the Disney Christmas Parade Special. They were talking about the new Narnia "show" or "exhibition" being open in the new year. Does anyone know if it is? It looked interesting & we would like to see it when we go (end of Jan, beginning of Feb). Also wondering in which part of MGM it is located. Thanks for any input, guys.

Re: Is Narnia @ MGM open?

It was open when we were there in December. It is pretty neat and only takes about ten minutes or so to go through it. They show you movie clips in the room too. It was pretty neat. It was in the back part of MGM near where you can meet JO JO at his trailer if I remember correctly.

Re: Is Narnia @ MGM open?

As long as you don't get locked in a room with a half goat man and drugged, it should be quite fun. Great Pictures.

I could see a Narnia attraction in the future at MGM. Especially since the movie is doing so well and they (Disney/Walden) are planning several more sequels.

Re: Is Narnia @ MGM open?

I took the kids to see Narnia on Tuesday just so they would be excited about this in MGM.
It would be cool to see a Narnia-Based permanent attraction in MGM.

Re: Is Narnia @ MGM open?

This attraction was OK, DS loves the book and the movie and was really looking forward to this. It was really nothing more than clips from the movie and a few props. The White Witch does make an appearance, but there is no opportunity for any interaction with her, DS was a tad disappointed, he really wanted a picture with her. Where you watch the movie is pretty though. I wouldn't wait in line for this attraction, if you want to see it, do it first thing in the a.m., there probably will be no wait.

The White Witch is available for Autographs at World Showcase in EPCOT. Seems like she would make appearances somewhere at MGM as well.

We looked for her there too, we probably just had bad timing. we actually did great with character interaction, I counted 38 autographs in DD's book from this trip alone!

From what we saw of her the White Witch was beautiful.

Well, on this site: http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/greet.html they list her as a regular at Mickey's Avenue. I was sure I read something about someone meeting her at EPCOT, but I cannot find anything at the moment.

The White Witch!

And dang, Boss Mouse made a joke similar to mine before I did. :nonono:

Strange that Italy no longer has the statue people but now there is the White Witch! Coincidence... or maybe not??

Re: Is Narnia @ MGM open?

Would this be ok for a 4 yr. old or would it scare her? She has not seen the movie, but got the toys from her Mcy D's happy meal and wanted to see it based on the commercials.

It really wasn't that scary. Where you view the movie is pretty, just try and sit near the door if you feel you may need to leave. It wasn't overly loud or intense, it's really just a long movie trailer.
