Guest Services at the parks??? HELP
Stay with me on this one:
I have a bunch of passes with a day or two on each. So I have to take them to Guest Services at the parks, have them scanned, and get the number of available days tallied. Then we have to figure how many more days we need and buy THOSE tickets! Whew! Unfortunately, they cannot handle this at the resorts. So I was thinking that if I went to the International Gateway Guest Services on the first day, we might get faster service because it is a less-popular entrance. Does anyone know if this is a good idea, or should we commando into one of the big Guest Services where they may have more people working? (This REALLY matters to me, since we will be hopping from one foot to the other waiting to get inside the parks. I don't want to be waiting at Guest Services all day!!!)

Re: Guest Services at the parks??? HELP
I think it's a great idea to go to the guest service at the Innternational Gateway.
I used that same senario a few years back to grab our passes and there was no wait.

If you are looking for a place with no wait that's your best bet. I would still ask when you check check in at your resort if they could check the number of days on your old tickets. The worst that will happen is they tell you no, best case, they scan your tickets.

Re: Guest Services at the parks??? HELP
Just letting you know, I had old passes and Guest Services at my resort did scan them and tell me how many days and what options were left on them, and I was able to purchase just what I needed. Instead of making a special trip, I would try your resort first.

T67 really??? That's so great! I was told on the phone that they cannot do that! But I would much rather sit in a beautiful lobby and have someone help me there than to wait in line at the parks!!!
I do wonder, though, if they will do it for us, since we are stayin goff-property! Did you have to be a guest at that resort???

AHHH there is where the problem lies. If you are not a resort guest I don't think they can do it. While I was waiting in the Guest Services line at Epcot I overheard a CM tell someone that any ticket window is able to scan passes. If you really want to be sure of what you have though, going to Guest Services will probably give you peace of mind. And to keep track of how many days left are on the plastic passes, take a piece of tape and put it across the pass, then you can write on the tape. I used this trick and it worked great. Re: Guest Services at the parks??? HELP
You could also go to the TTC the evening before, where there are many windows open.
Oh, and if you go 1/2 hour before rope drop, even at the main gate, you should be done by opening.
