Re: New years eve Disney style
I was there for New Years a couple of years ago. It was the MOST crowded I have EVER seen. We were at Epcot on New Years Eve and you could barely move through the crowds. It was much better a couple of days later, but New Years Eve is the busiest (I believe) day of the year.
They were giving out party hats and horns and it was a great atmosphere, but just way too crowded. We got to the park by 8:30 am and there was already a 2 hour wait for Mission Space (it had just opened tho).

I was at MK for this New Year's. It was way crowded. I didn't get back to the Poly to get my car until 2am. Next year,if I go to MK,I will either be at the foot of Main Street for the fireworks or I will sit down at one of the tables at Casey's Corner and read my book for an hour and a half before even attempting to leave.

We have only been there once for New Years (the millennium). It was soooo crowded, would not do it again (If I did, it would be at the resort with a nice bottle of champagne). It was fun to say that we did it, but personally, would not do it again.
The MK was filled at 8 AM, and you did not dare leaving as you would not get back in.
