A walking stick for Disney

 undefinedundefinedGood morning, My family and I are going to DW in MAy(1-5th). I am a disabiled person, and also a budding artist. I ,when going on trips enjoy making theme canes. This was a hard trip to duplicate .NewOrleans and New Jery were easy compared to DW. It is a childish toon cane that depicts DW in its true form, I have carved Mickey, Dumbo, and Whinny so far. I was wondering if I could get a picture of it taking with a Park Rep., or is the park focused on the mass? I have made canes for about two years now, since my latest injuries. My latest(other then a DW cane) was for the Army National Guard located here in PA. The walking stick depicted thier fight for freedom in Iraq. That walking stick is being dedicated on March 10-11. I dont want to sale these or any other cane. I would just enjoy showing the park how much We love Disney World and the joy it has brought my family thourgh cartoons moives and family values for over 30 years. If you would like to see the cane as I make it please check the link s below. I would also like to meet with people that are going in the same time frame as we are. It would be a joy to meet new people and have riding partners for my childern(5 and 11) even just for a few rides. Welcome to DC!! The cane is beautiful. My suggestion is to when you have your picture taken with Pooh,show him his picture on the cane. I'll bet the characters will go wild!! That happened to me when I had my picture taken with Mickey this past September-I had a Mickey head ring on my finger and he saw it and went wild,pointing it out to Minnie and making a big fuss about it. I'm sure that will work.

I dont want to bother anyone"Important." I would however like to make the trip not only a memory for were we went,but a memory in my sons eyes that I : did something other then come up with the money

You are amazingly gifted. I'm sure they would take pics. You might consider showing them to the right people at Disney. I think they would welcome the chance to sell them. You could make a very handy profit. And welcome to DC!!!!

Thank you Franco, I'm glad to be back on my dirt.(11b20p 2/75 Ranger Bat. Fort benning Ga. 88/92 , 30%) Thank you for your input one and all. I contacted a friend who is traveling the mid-west. he says there are places that you can find many walking sticks laying about. He also informed me that the mid west sales alot of hand carved "Spirit Sticks" or tall walking sticks, would anyone know of this quote? I have begun to work on the last two figures on the cane. I figured Tigger had to be there. I have one last space for a WDW toon, how would someone (here) like to decide what will go there. The size dont matter for I will propect it. So if you would like to see your fav. toon on my cane please make a suggestion in these board. I'm up for almost anything. It must be a WDW toon . Peace hippies
