Soarin' Height Requirement
I'm a very follow-the-rules kinda gal. Soarin' is my all time favorite ride. And I would love for my 2.5 year old DS to experience it. I just put his new Disney shoes on, measured him and he is only 38 inches tall. Soarin' has a 40 inch req. I'm assuming they are very strict with this. Any way he can get by?!!? Again, I want to be a good WDW patron but I want to ride this with as a complete family!!! Please let me know if I should even try to "squeeze" him in!!!
On the bright side, the River Rapids ride in AK is a 38 inch req! Jake is getting wet on this one... |

Re: Soarin' Height Requirement
Two inches is a lot, so I doubt you'll get away with it. I've found cast members are generally pretty strict about height requirements. My neice was about a 1/4 inch too short for California Screamin' a few years a go and still wasn't allowed on. You can always try though!

Re: Soarin' Height Requirement
DS was 48 inches and DD was 40 inches on the nose our last trip. EVERY ride that they got on, they were measured. I would say unless your DS has a growth spurt or you find some 2 inch platform shoes for him, you will have to wait.

Re: Soarin' Height Requirement
When we went in June, my little boy was just shy of the line, I would guess he was like 39 1/2 inches and they would not let him on, and boy everyone in there knew it!!! He pitched a really good fit about that!! They did let us do parent swap with my older son, so DH rode and then we traded off and DS and I rode together.
