Which Land or Area in a Disney Theme Park Don't You Like?

I hate to start a thread with a negative prosepective, but are there any "lands" or areas of any of the Disney parks that you don't particularly care for, or that don't give you that Magical feeling?

For me, I would say Dinoland USA at DAK. I always take a walk through when I'm there, and a ride on Dinosaur is always a must, but there is something about this land that just doesn't do it for me.

How about you? What areas are you not wacky about?

Re: Which Land or Area in a Disney Theme Park Don't You Like?

Well, my friend, now that you ask. hehe. It seems funny that we are always in agreement about these things but before I even OPENED this thread I was like.. ding, ding, ding.. "DINOLAND USA!" haha.

Dinoland USA kinda reminds me of Paradise Pier at DCA. Just not very "Disney feeling" to me and that gosh-forsaken "roller coaster" that is in BOTH DCA and AK, just drives me batty. I do have a cute picture of a dinosaur eating my head, hehe, and besides the Dinosaur ride I think it's just kinda "ehhhh."

I am ALSO going to have to say "Conservation Station." We all love going there to see the baby animals in the nursery part but after the train ride, long trail walk, etc.. you would be expecting something ALOT more innovative or spectacular. Then again, the "Poop on Scoop" signs on the back of the bathroom doors may be worth the train ride alone

Paradise Pier. And now that you've reminded me... yeah, I didn't much love Dinoland, either.

You hit it right on the head, Dinoland. I was really surprised and even thought to myself this must be temporary until they add more attractions.

I agree with Wish about Conservation Station too. Unless you're one of those weirdos that dig petting goats

Another place that doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy is the Streets of America at the Disney Studios. I don't know, it just feels so remote and far from everything that's good at the Studios.

I have to agree with Paradise Pier. I love the rides there, but it is frusterating to me that they put in Midway Games. Walt hated that kind of thing, which is why he built a theme park minus all that cheesy stuff.
Plus it seems like so much dead space. And I don't like the absence of trees.

Re: Which Land or Area in a Disney Theme Park Don't You Like?

Well call me easy to please because there really isn't any area that I do not like. I try and put everything into the perspective of "A bad day at Disney always beats the best day at work" and have fun with every attraction. There is however one thing I do not like; the new Ice Station in EPCOT is LAME. Seriously, what is the point of this display - other than a giant add for Coke products. Hey, at least you can get a free drink, right.

Twist, I had made the same observation and complaint in another thread awhile ago! Although, I was informed by a frequent DL visitor that their horticultural efforts have been increased. We can all hope this is true, I guess I will find out for myself come June!

this is what i thought at first but really its all in keeping with the theme, as a kid i went to santa cruiz boardwalk for a week(1979) and it was alot like this, except more games and such, an arcade would have been more in keeping

I know y'all are gonna throw things at me........but I've never really cared for Tomorrowland :shy:
It does have the Disney feel but I just feel like the whole sapce thing isn't as magical for me, personally. I still love some of the rides there but I'll call it my least favourite land instead of the land that I don't like.

I was going to skip this thread until I your response Tessa! I've never been very thrilled with Tomorrowland, either. I'm not into the whole Sci-fi thing. I love the rides and some of the attractions, just not the theming.

I haven't been to AK, but Dinoland isn't looking too good according to you guys....
