International food and Wine festival
DATES for 2003 ???
I know its usually last week of October first couple of weeks of November, but are they still doing it? With all the "budget cuts" I hope this survives! This is gonna be during our vacation and I would like to plan something nice for my husband like a wine seminar. Anyone know anything about it??? ![]()

Charlene, it is one of Disney's most popular events, and one of my personal favorite times to go to WDW. I would be highly surprised if it were cancelled. The dates were announced last year around the end of February, and the lineup of events were announced in July. I would expect the same for 2003

We did the Festival in 2002. I doubt they're going to cut it for a couple of reasons. One, they included more things like "Eat to the Beat" which was great. Two, I know for a fact that people plan their trips around when the Festival is going to be. Three, local residents with annual passes hit it all the time. Remember, it's not like you're getting something for nothing. You're paying for all these tastes you're getting.

I was there in 2000. I thought the whole thing was great. Now it even seems to be improved. I didnt mind paying here and there for it...it replaced dinner and provided a great variety.
We also did the Not so Scary Halloween too, and plan to do it as well. We had a blast and found the crowd to be light. But that was in 2000. I hope its as light this time... Wow nine months to go and you would think I am leaving tomorrow.:) I did call and the CM said the dates would be annouced after Easter for both events.:heart
