Maybe if they re-tool it to be the "Tessa-bration" they'll have a hit.

Re: Happiest Celebration on Earth

I guess maybe it does go to the end of the year. I don't know why I thought it ended in September or October. I can't remember where I thought I saw that. Oh well, the longer the celebration goes on, the better!!

Re: Happiest Celebration on Earth

It truely doesn't matter to me either way. I have seen the castle and the cindy show (major dud). I would love for them to get some new parades for my next trip. I love seeing new ones!

Re: Happiest Celebration on Earth

Phew, I finally found where I had read that it ends in September. It was at AllEars in an Anita Answer column.

http://allearsnet.com/aa/aa021306.htm

She says it will end September 30, 2006. Of course this is not from the official Disney website so it might still be inaccurate, who knows?

I felt like I was losing my mind for a bit there when I couldn't find where I had read it!!

Re: Happiest Celebration on Earth

Has there been any talk about what Disney is doing after the Celebration? I really love the way the castle looks this year. I'll be kinda sad when it goes back to normal.

I was told the celebration was to end as of October 3, 2006....or so I was told anyway. Just call the resort and they will know.

I remember that the 100 years of magic celebration was extended,so I'm not surprised the HCOE is going to be extended through January 2007.

Re: Happiest Celebration on Earth

The celebration is supposed to run for 18 months from May 5, 2005. I guess that means it ends November 5, 2006. As for Lights, Camera, Motors, that's going nowhere, not after the bundle they dropped for the new stadium, cars, etc. Soarin', again after the bundle they dropped to alter and modify The Land and build the ride, that's staying too. Everest? Several words, $100 million and 3 years of development and construction.

Re: Happiest Celebration on Earth

I wouldn't be surprised to see the castle keep at least some of the decorations. Remember the Mickey arm and wand at Epcot were originally built just for one of the celebrations? They decided to keep it.

Re: Happiest Celebration on Earth

I like the decorations on the castle, EXCEPT that stainglass window showing the other castles. I particularly love the Peter Pan characters flying around the turrent.
