Re: Park hopper or not??

Hopping is a requirement for me - just for the food options. There isn't much decent in MK, so we always have to go elsewhere for dinner.

Never hopped before this last trip, but it was fun. Of course, does anyone remember when WDW didn't charge $100 to hop?

Re: Park hopper or not??

Park hoppers are great! We use them all the time and often visit 3 parks in a single day. It's very convenient if the crowds are heavy at one park or if you only want to ride a couple attractions at one park in the morning and spend the rest of the day at another. They are worth every penny.

Oh, good point about the crowds.

We've encountered that a few times - with MK being packed, so we head over to MGM for the day or something. Excellent benefit.

Re: Park hopper or not??

I like going to the studios or AK during the day then hopping over to the world showcase for the evening. I wouldn't plan it any other way.

Excellent point. I have seen Fantasmic, Illuminations, and Wishes all on the same night, in park. There is no way you do that without park hoppers. Or say you want to see the Stars and Cars parade, or the AK parade, plus SpectroMagic in MK. Not without a park hopper. I wouldn't do Disneyland without a hopper, and that's just two parks. Orlando has 7 gated parks that your hoppers work on. How many can you do in a day?

Re: Park hopper or not??

We always leave the park midday. Sometimes we go back to the same park, sometimes we go to another one. But I'd feel too restricted if I didn't have the option.

HOP! We hop to one or more parks in the morning, go back to swim and nap, then often eat in Epcot in the evening. I can't imagine not being able to hop!!

My thoughts exactly. I don't like committing to one park a day!

Re: Park hopper or not??

We have to park hop! If the crowds get unbearabe somewhere, we can just go to another park! Our last trip, AK closed at 5 or 6 and we went to EPCOT for the fireworks and to do a little World Showcase shopping before the fireworks started! My kids also didn't last a whole day/evening at MGM, so we headed back to MK that evening too! For us Hoppers are a must!
