Tapestry of Dreams "Last Call"

I caught a not so beliveble rumor on another site a few days ago that the Last Tapestry of Dreams Parade will be March 1st. Well unfortunatly today it appers that it is official, the WDW web site has removed the Tapestry of Dreams Parade from their Epcot World Showcase March Park hours. I will have to re-arrange my itinerary for my March trip to catch the last parade on 3/1. What's next?
:(

Yeah, sad to say that I've heard the same thing.

Some people over at laughingplace.com had bad things to say about ToD as well as it's predecsor, ToN. Frankly, I loved both parades. I thought that they held a lot of emotional value. Maybe that was just me though. It thought they were beautiful. We're very glad that we're going to see the ToD one more time before it's ended. We'll be sure to video it!

I'll have to go with the people who think ToD,as well as ToN,was kind of dumb. I really didn't think that either parade had any real point to it.

We always thought the same thing. If we're going to take time out for a parade we'd rather it be "Disney" like Stars & Motorcars in MGM. I LOVE that one! And the AK parade is cool too. My DD, who collects Disney snowglobes loves the one in MK (I forget what they call it now) & we thought it was pretty neat too.

I have to agree; while I was glad to have seen it once, I never felt the need to see it again.

Any word of a replacement? Normally, it takes Disney quite a long time to design and build everything needed for a new parade.

You can add me to the list of people who saw them once and that was enough (and am I the only one who thinks it has lasted for a really long time). If my memory is correct it first started October 1999!!! I am ready for something new.

Finally!

Finally this horrably aweful parade is coming to a close. Good riddence.

Tapestry of Nations totally rocked, but Tapestry of Dreams, in my opinion, sucked. It was way too similar to ToN, and the fairy women (er... dream catchers) scared me. The music was horrable because it was a poorly remixed (read: chop job) of the original Tapestry of Nations music.

The Tapestry parades also injure cast members more than any other parade, from what I hear.
