A question for those who have attended MNSSHP last year

How long before the event did you purchase your tickets? In other works, how late do you think it would be safe to wait before ordering MNSSHP tickets? Also, does anyone know if all nights sold out last year?

We purchased our tickets at the time we made our reservation for the room. It was several months before our trip.

We got our tickets early, early. Halloween night usually sells out. From what I can tell, the other nights sell out pretty randomly. You can't ever really pinpoint which ones will and which ones won't. I'd get your tickets early just in case.

We went on Oct 6 last year. I made our trip reservations about 3 1/2 weeks out. Made my in-laws reservations about 2 1/2 weeks out. Bought our tickets for MNSSHP about 1 1/2 weeks out. We were going on a Thur, so that probably helped, not to mention that it was early Oct. If we were going on a weekend, or closer to Halloween, I wouldn't have waited that long.

I've usually bought my tickets in September and gotten my choice for October. I do usually try to go on weeknights or on Sunday. It cuts the crowds a little.

I bought mine the day they went on sale. I did Halloween night and did not want to take any chances they would sell out. Personally, I would grab them as soon as you can. A few nights sold out last year, but I am not sure how many did.

Last Year we bought our tickets as soon as they came on sale in May. We went on a weekday the last week of October and they were still selling tickets for the night we were there at the gate and hotel. The other two nights that they had the party during our vacation were sold out however. You also get a discount to buy them ahead of time rather than at the park.

I plan to wait until I check in on the 22nd of October and ask if there are any tickets left for the 2 days the party is being done the time I will be there.

i purchased our tickets 90 days before the date we went. i did that so we could go on the first day. we were leaving, if i remember right, two days after the first day MNSSHP started. i really wanted to go so I bought the tickets way in advanced. if any dates fall during your upcoming trip, go for it now! they might sell out on one day that you want to go.

We purchased our tickets when they went on sale but we had such a great time we went to the front of the park to see if there were any tickets left for another night and we were able to buy them. We go around the third week of the month in October. I know the closer you get to halloween those do sell out!
