Soarin'- or Test Track & M:S- Which one First?

If you're going to get to Epcot for rope drop for regular opening, which one would you ride first? Would you head to Soarin' first? Then cross over and either FP or wait for TT and then M:S?

Or, would you do TT then M:S. Then head over and FP Soarin' and do the boatride in Then Land while waiting for Soarin?

Go to Soarin' first, pull a fastpass, get in line, and then you will be able to ride it twice. Then, head over to Test Track, pull a fastpass, then head over to Mission: Space and ride that. Then if time permits ride Spaceship Earth or head over to The Living Seas and do Turtle Talk with Crush.

Re: Soarin'- or Test Track & M:S- Which one First?

I'd do Soarin! first. It's going to be the most popular attraction at Epcot for a while. It' still easier to get on TT or M:S than Soarin.

Re: Soarin'- or Test Track & M:S- Which one First?

Well, if it was me I would go and get on Test TRack and Mission Space right away, also doing "UofE" if interested. After those were finished I would then head to the other side and get a Fast Pass for Soarin' and go on the Land while waiting. If you STILL need more time go check out Turtle Talk with Crush or something since it's right there. Use your FP for Saorin' and if anyone is hungry this would be a PEREFCT time to get a snack or possibly an early lunch (defending how long all this took) in the Land pavillion!

Perfect! Now you went on all the "jerkers" BEFORE lunch and you can go on "Imagination, and "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" before heading to the World Showcase!

I want to be in EPCOt right now!

Re: Soarin'- or Test Track & M:S- Which one First?

I think I would ride Soarin first since it still is really popular. I would probably then get in line or fast passes for Test Track and Mission Space.

Re: Soarin'- or Test Track & M:S- Which one First?

From my experiences in May 2005, October 2005, December 2005, and January 2006, Soarin' is impossible to get on (i.e. has 70+ minute wait times) if you don't go right at rope drop (EMH if possible). Definitely get a fastpass for Soarin', then get in the standby line so you can ride twice.

Re: Soarin'- or Test Track & M:S- Which one First?

Get the Soarin' fast pass first, because it'll probably already be a 45 minute stand by wait, and go directly to Test Track. Ride as a single rider and then ride Mission Space as a single rider. This saves a lot of wait time. By now, it's your time to ride Soarin'. Go back to Soarin' and make sure you get another fast pass now, because they do run out most days by mid afternoon.

Soarin..
Grab and FP and then get in line.

THEN go to MS and TT, MS lines have been low the last few times I went (10 minutes max) of course this was non peak season

Re: Soarin'- or Test Track & M:S- Which one First?

Thanks, all. I think the consensus is to do Soarin' first. Get a FP, then get in regular line, then go back to it with the FP. Then we'll FP TT and check out M:S (well DH and little DS will check it out as me and older DS will only go on again if they have the milder version before mid-June.)

At rope drop, do the crowds evenly split and some go left to TT and MS and the others to go Soarin? When we went last year Soarin wasn't officially opened (and they only had one theater working), so everyone tended to go left. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Soarin'- or Test Track & M:S- Which one First?

Soarin' usually has the biggest wait line of all Epcot attractions. When we went 2 weeks ago M:S wait was 20 mins and Soarin was 60 - 90 mins. I think that most people will head to Soarin' first.

Re: Soarin'- or Test Track & M:S- Which one First?

I have a cute story about Soarin'.

Last year we waited on line for a soft opening of Soarin' for almost an hour. Little DS was getting tired and hungry. But we were getting so close to the end of the line we made him hang in there. Well, when we all got in the seats- front row right in the middle, he started to freak out. Crying and saying he didn't want to go on. DH took him out and me and older DS rode. DH never did get to ride it. So I know we can't miss it this time.

Turns out, little DS (5 at the time) actually thought the chairs lifted up and out of the building and into the sky. He got that idea from seeing the commercials for Soarin' where it really does look like the family is flying freely in the sky. I couldn't believe he thought this really happened. I laughed. After explaining how the ride really works, he now wants to go on it.

Awww... Poor little guy! No wonder he was freaked out!

Soarin' is one of my favorites. It seems so relaxing to me. I your little DS will love it now!
