Re: Disney Photo Pass
The Photo Pass is a card they give you when you get your pic taken for instance on Main Street in MK. They give you a small white card that looks like a credit card and says Disney's Photo Pass on it. You give it to any of the photographers found throughout the parks, like at AK in front of the entrance or the tree of life, on the main walk of MGM etc. They take your pictures then swipe your card, loading the images onto it. You then can take it to the Photo places, like the one on Main Street and they can pull up your pictures and print them off for you (for a price of course). Also you can log onto the photopass website and order your own prints off the card.
The photopass is only used for the CM taken photos. |

Re: Disney Photo Pass
It is a pass you get when you get to the parks..it is like a credit card sort of thing. There are various people around the parks that you hand the card to and they will take you picture and it will go on an account you can either look at in the parks or at home online. I would suggest getting it BUT also bring your camera. I found there were not a whole lot of people taken pictures but the ones we got were good and it helps when we are the only one's there and we can have someone take a picture of the 2 of us. I took ALOT of pictures beside this NOT taken my camera was never an option to me. Hope this helps

Re: Disney Photo Pass
I would definitely still take my own camera. There may not be a CM photographer around when you have a great photo op. I can't imagine being at WDW w/o my camera!

Re: Disney Photo Pass
We did a lot of both last year. We took all our usual pictures but added Photo Pass pictures when we could. It was nice to see how they turned out but we also had most of the same pictures on our camera. This summer I think I may get a lot more since we can get the DC for $99.
