Pirates can lead to WDW Fever!
UH OH!!!!! Now we've gone and done it!!!!!
DD (and DS for that matter) said the only bad thing about going to see Pirates of the Caribbean was that they would catch WDW Fever.... Dang, I hate it when they're right! We saw it twice over the weekend and now we're searching for a remedy. There's only one that I know of... I spent most of the morning (it's me day off) searching on the Internet for cheap airfare in early August for you-know-where. If we pull this one off, it'll hafta be on the cheap - since we're gonna have some expenses for DS's wedding next June!! Wish me luck!!

all star is a cheap resort..not liek cheap "OH NO IT'S CRAP" not like that it is for getting up and going nothing else

Thanks. Been there - done that. We've stayed at all three all-stars and liked them all. Our fave value resort is Pop Century...
But you're right. ALl fur value resorts are fine. We've stayed at moderates and at deluxe and each is just fine. As far as the value resorts are concerned, I get peeved at friends who think they have to stay off-WDW property because on-site resorts are too expensive! I tell them about the value resort prices and they just dont seem to want to be bothered by the facts. You can't beat the value resort prices anywhere unless you indeed are staying at dumps. OH KEITH!!!!! I need your help!!!!!

I am also looking for cheap airfare for my friend in Maryland for a weekend birthday trip to WDW with me. As far as resorts go, we are choosing to stay in a tent in Fort Wilderness. It is the best value in my opinion. She also should get 20% off with her AAA discount. Both of us love camping, and they have so many things going on there at the resort.

Totally agree with "Above".....We stayed at ASmovies this past spring. All Stars is good for sleeping and taking a dip in the pool. BUT, it was way less expensive than the other options at that time. With a promotional code through AAA, and a few other pleadings, our nightly fare was $73. You couldnt stay offsite for that price in early April.....
Some threads on here though make you want to believe that the value resorts just are not worth it......but believe me, they are worth every penny. Would stay there again when trying to save a little extra for more mouse ears :)

That's why having family with time share is crucial. I pay nothing for a week of my parents or grandparents time share. Of course, that's not an option for everyone and not an option for me this Sept. since I'm obviously staying at CBR. Sometimes you just have to splurge (a little).

All we have to do is turn on our computer. Both Chastmastr and I have Disney photos as backgrounds. (Mine is Animal Kingdom at the moment). Phayes, hope you get that fever cured soon and have a great trip

DD just found out her college soccer team will start workouts a week earlier than in the past next month - no time for WDW trip... Hmmmm... what to do now that our mission has gotten under way? I've got it! I'd better post in on a new thread though.....

It's a fever that can only be suppressed, but never really goes away. Sounds like an illness, doesn't it? I will be seeing POTC 2 this weekend. I am so looking forward to it.....but I don't want to get that "Disney Void" feeling when it is over.
 I guess we will have to start planning for our next trip to WDW. The only "true" temporary cure.
